This Week on StakeCube, 5th of November 2021

StakeCube in Numbers

Bitcoin seems to be consolidating above the $60,000 level this week while altcoins continue to show tremendous growth. Ethereum, Polkadot and Solana all reached an all time high, just to name the most prominent of them. Seems like we could be in the middle of what is known as an alt-season, as money continues to rotate out of Bitcoin into different altcoins. On StakeCube we saw a significant increase in demand for SCC, with pretty high exchange volume on the SCC/BTC pair. This could be in anticipation of the release of SCP Wallet version 1.1.6 which finally came today. Mining profitability also experienced some recovery this week, after the steady fall it has been going through lately.

  • User Count: 126,377 +0.49%
  • Pool Value: 584.57 BTC +0.75%
  • Daily BTC Mined: 0.095 BTC +2.15%
  • SCC Price: $1.17 -0.85%
  • SCC Market Cap: $10,858,000 -5.71%
  • Daily Exchange Volume $124,084 -18.40%
  • Alexa Rank 17,665 +10

As for the coins listed on StakeCube, Divi clearly stands out as it managed to double in price this week. XLR made it to the list again, being top 3 both last week and this week. MMO was top 5, perhaps thanks to the imminent release of their NFT marketplace.

These were the top 5 gainers for this week:

Top 5 Gainers

  1. DIVI +103.4%
  2. BLTG +63.0%
  3. XLR +39.7%
  4. BLOCK +39.4%
  5. MMO+37.1%

SCPizza Airdrop

SCP Wallet v1.1.6 codenamed Aeternum is here, and as promised, so is the SCPizza airdrop. A month ago we announced that to commemorate the release we would airdrop Pizza NFTs to all StakeCube Protocol users that retweeted the announcement:

https://twitter.com/SC_Protocol/status/1442591377926275072

The release finally came today, and total of 283 participants were awarded a unique SCPizza NFT. If you participated in the airdrop but for some reason you didn’t receive the NFT yet, head over to our Discord channel and provide proof of your participation. We have reserved 30 extra NFTs for these cases, which will be burnt next Friday if they remain unclaimed.

MineCube Figures

These are some statistics for MineCube as of today:

  • 408 users with at least 100% recovered
  • 172 average workers per user
  • Highest recovery rate: 125.0%
  • $2.14 million worth of workers sold

Remember that you can buy workers in bulk by placing an OTC order. To do this, open a support ticket on Discord and we will guide you through the process.

Meatec Service Disruption

Meatec announced on their Discord that the explosion from last week caused some damage that will need repair. As it seems, the repair work will require to temporarily stop some of the miners. StakeCube miners will be affected by this downtime, as was confirmed by their staff. At the moment we don’t know how many of the miners or for how long. This was the communication that they posted on Discord:

We will let you know if we receive any further communication. Until then, stay informed by joining Meatec’s Discord server:

Wallets in Maintenance

BTCT

We have been in contact with the BTCT team with regards to their explorer. We got communication from their team that they are working on bringing their website and explorer back online. They estimate this will be done by next week. Once we confirm that everything is running as it should, we will bring the wallet back online.

LUX

Early this week, the LUX team posted an update on their Discord:

https://discord.com/invite/ndUg9va

However, we got confirmation from our tech team that the explorer we were waiting on is catching up. If nothing changes we could have the wallet fully operational again next week.

SCP Wallet

The latest SCP Wallet update (v1.1.6) was successfully deployed today!
Launch tweet: https://twitter.com/SC_Protocol/status/1456696932919873537

We codenamed it “Aeternum” (ˈɛ-ˈter-ˌnu̇m), which when translated Latin-to-English roughly means “Eternal”, “Forever” or “Everlasting”. This is a nod to the newly implemented SCP-4 NFT standard,  which is designed to be resistant to NFT vulnerabilities relating to malleability. For instance, image hosts going down, bad actors editing images within NFTs or even “vanishing” images are not possible thanks to the use of this new technology.

This upgrade enables the new SCP-4 standard to be used for creating Collections and NFTs; powered by SCP, IPFS and Filecoin for up-to 32GB in uploadable content, entirely free of charge and with unlimited uses!

With this, StakeCube Protocol stands tall as a long-term provider of truly decentralized NFTs and Web 3.0 content. The addition of Dash’s InstantSend also allows SCP-4 NFTs to be minted, transferred, traded and more without any waiting time; a truly instant DeFi protocol.

In addition to the SCP-4 protocol, SCP Wallet has been fully adapted to the upcoming SC v3 branding, with a sleek new interface design complemented by light and dark modes.

SCP Wallet also now includes a new functionality named the “SCP Developer Toolkit”. Thanks to it, even the least techy users can now launch their very own SCP tokens within just a couple clicks, zero code, zero hassle, the most efficient way of bootstrapping any DeFi project.
