Crypto Markets Update
Prices in Crypto have moved very little over the last 2 weeks, with Bitcoin following a mostly sideways trajectory. Seems like the pessimism taking over most financial markets is also affecting us, not letting Crypto prices start a recovery just yet. At the root of this is the lack of signs from the Federal Reserve or the ECB that a more relaxed monetary policy will begin, and that interest rate raises will stop. This is evidenced by the high correlation between the stock market and the Crypto market in recent times. The markets are signaling that without liquidity injections on the part of the central banks, there will be no recovery at all.

S&P March Futures:
Many analysts now fear a big stock market crash, and judging from their most recent behavior, it is doubtful that the Crypto markets would remain unaffected in such a scenario. Nevertheless, prices have already been falling for a full year, and most bullish market participants should have given up hope by now. The bottom cannot be too far.

StakeCube in 2023
We have big plans for 2023, and we want to share them with you. We are at the moment finalizing the roadmap for StakeCube in 2023, which we will make public on the next newsletter. This roadmap will include release dates for major updates, such as StakeCube V3, SCP, BotCube, etc. Yes, you read that right. Next week you will know the official release date for StakeCube V3, which is now going through the last development stage.
We are also currently discussing internally possible plans for our interest function to address the uncertainty caused by recent events taking place in the Crypto space. Roughly speaking, we intend to allow users to decide whether they want to opt in to the interest program, while providing additional on-chain transparency. We are also redesigning the SCC bonus program to make it more effective in attracting activity to StakeCube. The biggest question is whether to implement such changes into the current version of StakeCube, or wait and add them to StakeCube V3.
Next week we should be ready to give you more information.
Birake Delisting SCC
Due to the low trading volumes for SCC on Birake, they have decided to delist it. This comes as no surprise, as most SCC users are currently using StakeCube’s native exchange to trade SCC. Nevertheless, please make sure that you withdraw your SCC from Birake as soon as possible. This was the official communication:
