General News
StakeCube in Numbers
9th consecutive week of losses for Bitcoin and no sign of recovery yet. Again there is no negative news that could explain this, and we can only attribute it to some Wall Street traders taking risk-off positions. Meanwhile other cryptocurrencies are falling very rapidly. Particularly Ethereum killers such as Solana and Avalanche lost 21.6% and 28.8% this week. In fact a large majority of top 100 coins have had a terrible week, but some low market cap coins have had good performances, as you will see in the top 5 listed coins section. On StakeCube exchange volume grew slightly thanks to an uptick in activity for MONK and FLS. SCC also recovered some value as people bought the order-book back to the 1000 Satoshi level. Mining rewards fell to zero, as this week there was no payment. More on this later.

BSC Maintenance
The BSC/BEP20 wallet will be offline in order to perform some maintenance work. Deposits made during this time will not be credited automatically, and withdrawals will not be possible.
As part of the same process, we will add more space to the server in order to decrease the frequency with which we need to perform maintenance / database pruning.
TUP Status
Our advisor Apple contacted the TUP team once again to consult with them regarding the status of a possible solution for the wallet issues. As it has been months now since the problem started, if we don’t receive any official communication from them we will delist TUP from StakeCube. In the next newsletter we will communicate our final decision.
MineCube Payment Missing
Due to maintenance on MeaTec’s side, yesterday’s payment did not take place. Payment for this and next week will be credited on the 2nd of June.
Move to Earn
This week no new coins will be added to the earn system, as we are performing work to improve the currently existing features.
New Support System
As we informed some months ago, as part of the process to transition to StakeCube version 3, we will be creating a support system that will be integrated directly on the platform. In order to prepare for this, we will move to an interim solution on the 30th of May 2022. Starting that date, to open a ticket users will have to send an email from the same address they used to register on StakeCube. The support email is support@stakecube.zohodesk.com
As usual, please make sure to include as much information as possible to help solve your case. Don’t forget to mention thing such as your username, relevant transaction ids, affected assets, etc. Also, include screenshots as attachment to the email to help our agents understand the nature of the problem.
All tickets created during this time will be ported to the support system included in StakeCube version 3, and you will be able to consult them there.
Please keep in mind that we will not offer support on Discord, via private messages or in any other way. From now on, we will only use the official support email stated above. Watch out for potential scammers and impersonators that might contact you pretending to be part of the StakeCube team. Members from the StakeCube team will never contact you first.
All currently open support tickets on Discord will be closed. Make sure to review them and save any necessary data or logs before they are deleted.
Coin devs and team members will still be able to inform us of updates, news and possible issues using the #coin-devs channel on Discord. To have access to it, representatives will need the coin-rep Discord role.
StakeCube Official Community Discord
Apart from removing the ticket system from Discord, we will also rework roles and permissions within the server. This will allow for easier maintenance, but more importantly, it will improve security. As part of the process, we will remove individual team roles as well as all third party bots (with the exception of tweetshift). This will eliminate the risk of possible vulnerabilities such as the ones we have seen lately in other Discord servers. Our own server was unaffected so far, but it is better to be cautious.
As we will not provide support through Discord anymore, we will be more strict in our application of the rules there. In particular, infractions of rules 2 and 3 will not be tolerated. Users engaging in any form of racism, spam, FUD or abusive behavior will be banned without a warning. You can consult the rules on the #rules channel on Discord:
