This Week on StakeCube, 18th of February 2022

General News

The markets have been trending down this week, probably because of rumors that Biden is going to issue an executive order to regulate the Crypto markets. The United States government has been rather negative on Crypto, and it is expected that any regulation coming from them would be bad for the space. However, these are just rumors, as it is still not clear what this regulation will entail. On top of that, the general markets continue to show the fear of Federal Reserve action against inflation, and this could be part of the reason for the bad performance this week. Big investors seem to be taking a risk-off approach and they still perceive Bitcoin as a risk-on asset. As for StakeCube, we also felt the downturn of the markets, as evidenced by our indicators.

Syscoin Shared Masternode

To commemorate the partnership and to welcome the new StakeCube members coming from the Syscoin community, we decided to open a Sys shared masternode so that they don’t need to wait until V3 to earn masternode rewards. If you have some spare Syscoin somewhere, be sure to reserve some shares! You can do it here:

https://stakecube.net/app/masternode/

If you don’t know how to do it, you can follow this guide:

At the moment the masternode is about a quarter full, so still a lot of free slots left.
