This Week on StakeCube, 3rd of September 2021

General News

StakeCube in Numbers

This was quite a positive week for the Crypto markets, with Bitcoin breaking the $50,000 level, and Ethereum the $4,000 one. NFTs have continued to attract a lot of attention, which has had the unfortunate side-effect of making fees extremely expensive. This in turn has led to big growth in Ethereum killers like Solana, that grew almost a 90% this week. On StakeCube the numbers also reflect a pretty decent growth, with all indicators in green except for the sinking trading volume after the TUP rush. SCC continues to maintain the $1 value, which at this point seems like an obvious psychological level of support.

  • User Count: 116,790 +0.85%
  • Pool Value: 682.67 BTC +3.15%
  • Daily BTC Mined: 0.112 BTC +1.82%
  • SCC Price: $1.14 +5.56%
  • SCC Market Cap: $10,717,000 +5.86%
  • Daily Exchange Volume $144,257 -48.55%
  • Alexa Rank 19,481 +624

In the top 5 gainers this week we have MERGE as first, with a huge growth of 200% and far ahead of all others. Interestingly we had two big market cap coins with big increases, Ethereum and Litecoin. This was this week’s top five:

Top 5 Gainers

  2. RPD +32.5%
  3. ETH +26.0%
  4. LTC +25.1%

MineCube Ethereum Payments Delayed

Due to the NFT hype, the Ethereum network has recently experienced a huge boom in activity. This has increased gas prices to prohibitively high values that make transfers very expensive. Because of this, sending the amounts mined after only one day might become impractical at times. This was already the case last Monday, when it was decided to postpone the payment. Similar delays might happen again if gas fees continue to be this high. Of course this does not cause any loss of funds, we simply accumulate mining returns and credit them one day later.

These are some statistics for MineCube as of today:

  • 295 users with at least 100% recovered
  • 159 average workers per user
  • Highest recovery rate: 110.7%
  • 2900 users with at least 1 worker
  • $1.9 million worth of workers sold

A new OTC order is going out today for a total of 11800 workers. At the current pace we will cross the $2 million invested on MineCube in about a month. Help us get there by buying some workers and get a nice passive income in the cryptocurrency of your choosing:

Rocket League Tournament

We are fast approaching our next E-Sports event, coming next week. However, it is still not too late to join. If you enjoy playing Rocket League and would like a chance to make some money with it, just come and sign up. To do that, simply visit the E-Sports Discord server and ask one of our staff members.

We have also prepared some sponsor packs for projects that would like to get some visibility from our viewers. If you’re interested in this, please contact either CryptoKritter or Derek on our Discord:

Wallets in Maintenance

We have continued to work with the BITB team to find a solution to the syncing issues, with the wallet finally coming back online today. In the process, the hot wallet led to the destruction of the operative system on the server where it was installed. Later today, new issues have arisen that force us to put it back into maintenance.

Ghost was also taken out of maintenance today and is now fully online.

With the exception of BITB, all available coins should have their wallet fully functioning at the moment.

Backup your 2FA Codes!

We have had many cases of users asking for their 2FA to be reset because they lost access to it and they don’t have a backup available. Backing up your codes ensures that you can always restore your 2FA and access your funds. Please, check out the following guide explaining how to backup your codes on Google Authenticator:

Development News

SCP Wallet:

We added to the client a full developer toolkit for the launching of SCP standard tokens, which allows anyone to easily deploy their own project token within minutes. It removes all coding in favor of a few simple parameter forms. The new menu will be available in the upcoming SCP wallet release, for which we don’t have a tentative date yet.
