StakeCube in Numbers

This was a week of huge growth for StakeCube, with most indicators in the green and reflecting big increases. Particularly exchange volume has reached a new high thanks to the renewed interest from the TUP community. The last 2 days we have had more than $1 million in daily trading on the exchange. As for the Crypto markets, they had a pretty uneventful week, with Bitcoin moving mostly sideways. Other as of late hyped projects have had poor performances. For example Solana experienced a sharp price correction after the network was down for several hours and had to be restarted. However Avalanche, another platform coin, had a great week, as did a few DeFi tokens like CRV or SNX. These were the stats for StakeCube:

  • User Count: 119,761 +1.39%
  • Pool Value: 741.18 BTC +7.22%
  • Daily BTC Mined: 0.104 BTC -6.31%
  • SCC Price: $1.02 +6.25%
  • SCC Market Cap: $9,506,000 +4.54%
  • Daily Exchange Volume $688,530 +81.61%
  • Alexa Rank 18,837 +196

This week MMT leads the top 5 with a very impressive growth of 138.7%. MMT is a coin with a close connection to the StakeCube community and the first independent project to switch to StakeCube Protocol. We are very happy to see them succeed. This was this week’s top five:

Top 5 Gainers

  1. MMT+138.7%
  2. PNY+57.0%
  3. PAC +26.3%
  4. GHOST +13.8%
  5. SHARD+11.2%
MineCube Updates

Meatec had an unscheduled maintenance starting last Monday due to energy cuts at the facilities where the miners are located. The down time lasted 2 days and miners generated no rewards during that period.

Today there was also an announcement that Meatec will increase electricity costs for their miners, which will diminish rewards to some extent. You can check out their official Tweet regarding these changes:

https://twitter.com/MeatecM/status/1436293910733762561?s=20

The new electricity costs for miners will be:

$0.065 for ASICs
$0.078 for GPUs

These are some statistics for MineCube as of today:

  • 322 users with at least 100% recovered
  • 165 average workers per user
  • Highest recovery rate: 113.7%
  • $1.95 million worth of workers sold

As expected and during the maintenance the selling of workers slowed down somewhat. We hope to reach the $2 million mark next week.

New TUP Faucet

At the request of their team we have added a TUP faucet so that you can get some coins for free every day. You can check it out here:

Oleg’s Rough Development Timeline

Oleg shared with us through Twitter his projections for when different developments could see the light of day. These are just rough estimates, but should give an idea of what’s being worked on. Check it out here:

Coins Sent to Wrong Address

Once again we remind you that if you send coins to the wrong address, this results in loss of funds. In some cases we might be able to recover the funds but this incurs a fee of $100 as it is a long and labor-intensive task. These include cases of BSC tokens and ETH tokens sent to the user’s BNB and ETH addresses respectively. Please keep in mind that we bear no responsibility in these cases, as we cannot control what address a user sends their coins to. Users must ensure they make no mistakes when transferring funds.

Axie Infinity Scholarship

We have now more than 25 teams participating in the scholarship, with more getting ready every week. However, it is not too late for you to apply and earn a spot in the scholarship. If you’re interested, just ask for more information on how to participate in our E-Sports Discord:

https://discord.gg/neJUNSVrMt

So far participants have earned more than 22,000 SLP, gaining more PVP and arena battle experience every day.

Support Team Reorganization

We have rearranged support schedules to provide better coverage, and to include me (Sandude) in the daily rotation of support agents. However and as usual, support cases will be answered within 24h. You should not expect an immediate response, even though it looks like a live chat. Protesting or opening multiple tickets can only result in additional delay and can get you banned from chatting on our Discord server.

Development News

StakeCube Protocol News

We have fully implemented NFT and NFT collections on the SCP testnet. SCP-4 NFTs enforce the usage of IPFS. This is a fully decentralized system that stores all images to ensure NFTs on SCP are completely immutable. You can read more about it here:

https://docs.ipfs.io/how-to/mint-nfts-with-ipfs/

The UI for NFTs and collections is still in development, however progress has been swift so far. We intend to make the UI intuitive both for newcomers and advanced NFT users. The plan also includes an UI for easy NFT deployment. This will allow anyone to deploy their own NFTs and collections with just a few clicks.

Although this is still work in progress, check out some NFT UI examples:

The integration of this feature into the StakeCube platform is also in development at the moment.

SCP Wallet

A bug was causing the burn and mint of SCP-1 and SCP-2 tokens to fail. This bug has been fixed in the latest PR, with SCP wallet v1.1.6 having fully functional mintSCP and burnSCP commands once again.
